Dates/Itinerary for Two Week Trips to John of God in Abadiania, Brazil ''Traveling to Abadiania is a sacred journey but it can also be daunting. In my opinion a guide is absolutely essential and finding Steve was the first of many miracles for me. Steve's command of the language, Portuguese, knowledge of the protocol at the Casa, which can be confusing, coupled with his caring and concern for everyone in the group made him indispensable and an intricate part of my own healing. I plan to return to the Casa for the spiritual connection, and it will definitely be with Steve.'' -Virginia Hulsey, Port George, VA, US The dates for two week and special one week** trips in 2012 and 2013 are : May 7-May 19, 2012* October 8-October 20, 2012* October 29-November 10, 2012* December 10-December 22, 2012* January 14-January 26, 2013* February 18-March 2, 2013* March 11-March 23, 2013* April 15-April 27, 2013* May 20-June 1, 2013* August 12-August 24, 2013* September 2-September 14, 2013* October 14-October 26, 2013* November 11-November 23, 2013* December 2-December 14, 2013* *Please note all trips start on Monday and finish on Saturday in the city of Brasilia, Brazil. Steve will meet you at the Brasilia airport. **For those who are not able to make it for the two week trips, a special one week option is available (you can come for the first week of any scheduled trip and stay Monday through Saturday). While some guides bring groups consisting of 20, 30 or even more people, Steve`s groups are small and intimate, making your journey more personal and fulfilling. Most people will leave their home city on Sunday (before the first day of each trip) and catch a connecting flight from either Miami, Atlanta or Lisbon to Brasilia. Steve will meet you at the airport in Brasilia on Monday morning. There are now direct flights to Brasilia on Delta Airlines (from Atlanta) with TAM Airlines and American Airlines (from Miami) and with TAP Air Portugal (from Lisbon). For assistance with airline tickets, please contact Steve at steveroz@hotmail.com. If you would like to see the exotic sights of Rio de Janeiro or any other part of Brazil, it is recommended that you do this before you come to see John of God. It is recommended that you go home after your treatment with John of God. Sunday (before first day of trip) Flight from your home city to Brasilia (the capital of Brazil), most flights leave in the evening and are overnight. Monday The international flights to Brazil arrive in the early morning. Steve will meet you at the airport in Brasilia. We will take a 1.5 hour air conditioned drive on a comfortable highway to Abadiania. Check-in to your room at the guesthouse. We will have lunch. You can exchange your money at the travel agency. Rest after flight. Dinner at the guesthouse. Tuesday Late breakfast at the guesthouse so you can rest. We will take a tour of the facilities at John of God's healing center. Those wishing to have crystal bed sessions can schedule them for the afternoon. We will have lunch. Get to know the layout of the town, swim, get some sun, take a nap or go for a walk. Schedule a private session with Steve to go over your requests for John of God. Those needing to purchase white clothes, can do so in the afternoon. We will have dinner at the guesthouse. An English Language Orientation will take place at the Casa at 7:30pm. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7:00am-7:30am Breakfast. Everyone should be ready to go to the Casa by 7:30 am. 8 am-12 approx. Morning Session with John of God 12-1pm Lunch 1-2pm Free Time 2-5pm approx. Afternoon Session with John of God 5:30pm Group Meeting to see how everyone is doing, sharing information. 6:30pm Dinner 8pm Rosary After 10pm Sleep/Rest Saturday - Monday You are encouraged to stay in Abadiania, even though there are no planned activities. People benefit by taking this time to rest, meditate/journal in the Casa gardens, read, go to the Sacred Waterfall, take short walks, nap and lounge in a hammock, have crystal bed treatments, get a manicure/pedicure/haircut, swim, socialize, enjoy healthy juices, vitamin-rich acai and other fresh fruit concoctions at the local cafes, watch the sunset, shop for souvenirs, handicrafts or jewelry. For early risers, there is wonderful bird watching, communing with nature or doing a sunrise meditation. For those who are interested, there will be guided group meditations and visualizations twice a day. Tuesday You can volunteer to cut vegetables for the blessed soup which is served to everyone at the Casa. We will make a visit to the other side of Abadiania. We will visit the Casa da Sopa (Soup Kitchen) which provides meals and education to the residents of the city. You will also see the Mayor's Office, City Adminstration and the Municipal Court of Abadiania. Preparation for the second week's work at the Casa. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday The same schedule at the Casa as above as well as bringing photos of family members and friends in front of the entity. Everyone who has had surgery during the first week, will have a revision with John of God. Everyone will be asked to spend as much time as possible in meditation in the current rooms. Taking pictures with John of God at the end of the Friday afternoon session. Saturday Check out of guesthouse after lunch. In the afternoon, a tour of the spiritual and architectural highlights of Brasilia (for a small additional fee, for those interested). Then we drive to the Brasilia airport to catch flights home.
